Our dancers have just returned from their tremendously successful 7-week tour of Italy where they staged 30 performances throughout 20 cities. Exhausted but proud of the huge audiences they attracted--in Rome alone over 6000 people came out to see them-- the dancers are now resting from it all! A special thanks goes out to Parsons alum Elena D’Amario, who appeared with the company in Rome.
Performing in Milan was certainly one the most rewarding parts of the tour. Our four shows at the beautiful Teatro Arcimboldi as part of the Festival Internazionale Della Danza di Milano sold 7,405 tickets! Great things happened offstage, too: 97 students participated in the 3-day Milan Intensive, led by David Parsons and former dancer Abby Silva Gavezzoli. Thanks to all our Italian friends for their great enthusiasm!
