About Our Italy Intensives

While touring throughout Italy, the company will offer two Official Parsons Dance Intensives led by David Parsons and company dancers and provided by Artworks Production. Under the supervision of Gisella Zilembo-Eventi Danza, these classes will allow aspiring artists to learn from Parsons, one of the most respected international choreographers.

The Intensives will take place in both Rome and Milan, two cities where Parsons Dance will perform, and will also be available through virtual workshops generated from New York City studios. Available for dance students who have demonstrated the necessary technical skills, the Official Parsons Dance Intensives will provide immersive experiences for all participants who will delight in the opportunity to interact with this remarkable company.

This initiative is made possible thanks to the national circuit of schools affiliated with Gisella Zilembo-EventiDanza, an organization selected as a Artworks Production 2024 partner because of its impressive artistic and educational profile. An international manager and organizer, Gisella Zilembo is the General Manager of “MAB,” Premio International Classical Dance Maria Antonietta Berlusconi for young people. As such, she is responsible for events occurring in Italy, Finlan, Romania, Mozambique, Armenia, the United States, Maldives, Korea and Cuba. She has collaborated with Antonio Gnecchi for fifteen years in offering excellent pathways for young dancers to work with revered international dance artists.
