Support Parsons Dance Today!

Dear Friends,

For nearly four decades, Parsons Dance has created and performed inspiring work that lifts the human spirit, and we are grateful to so many of you for supporting our efforts. Your love for what we do energizes us. You make us strong. In these last weeks of 2024, we are reaching out to ask that you support us now by including Parsons Dance in your end of year giving plans.

Much was accomplished in 2024. We created and performed a new David Parsons’ work and one made by Jamar Roberts. During a productive fall residency at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, we collaborated with choreographer Rena Butler on a compelling new piece that is set to premiere in spring 2025. Highlighting our abundant education and outreach efforts were programs in New York City schools, student matinees, special sensory friendly performances and workshops, and in person and digital masterclasses and workshops. And, at this point, our highly successful U.S. and international touring has gleaned over 20,000 audience members.

All this leaves us with much to do. In 2025, we will go on with our commitment to securing the legacy of Parsons Dance by immortalizing our works through artistic archiving. We will continue to take care of our dancers by providing them with the salaries and health care coverage they deserve. We will work to expand our audience base through more touring opportunities. We will maintain our dedication to collaborating with talented commissioned choreographers who share our vision of creating a more joyful world through our art.

Please help us achieve all this and more by supporting Parsons Dance with a gift today. Your generosity will go far to ensure that our beloved company thrives.

With gratitude,
