What A Year!

As 2021 comes to its fast approaching end, we are looking back with huge thanks to our dancers who worked hard to stay healthy and to our audiences who continued to believe in what we do. The past year has been amazingly busy. We re-staged twelve works and made two new dances; we created a virtual season for The Joyce; and we appeared at the Fire Island Dance Festival and at Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park. We also provided online free dance classes, performances, and educational workshops on our social networks. And this fall, we performed in Georgia, Utah, North Carolina, and made our company debut at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in California. Closer to home, we appeared at SUNY Geneseo, the Chautauqua Institution, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Tilles Center on Long Island and NJPAC.

Since our Joyce run ended not too many days ago, we have been thinking about how great it was to take the stage of a NYC theater after two long years away. For those who made it to The Joyce, thanks for being part of the fun. And for those who couldn’t make it, we look forward to catching up with you someday soon.
