Zoey Anderson In a Benefit Performance of "Caught"

Many of us from Parsons Dance were in the audience at The Joyce Theater on January 27 to see Zoey Anderson deliver a stunning performance of Caught at “Destiny Rising,” the New City Dance Alliance’s benefit show. Her presence on the evening’s roster was especially meaningful for Zoey who trained with NYCDA and received a scholarship from the organization to attend Marymount College, where she majored in dance. “I began my passion for dance under the mentorship of NYCDA,” Zoey says, “and during every summer that I was a Marymount student, I took the Parsons Dance Summer Intensive,” a path that ultimately led to David Parsons recognizing her talent and choosing her to join the company.
